What are some simple chores for kids?
Make certain that the chores that you’re having them do aren’t too hard or their going to lose interest. Some simple chores could be:
- Sweeping
- Cleaning out the litter box
- Dusting
- Taking out the trash
- Putting away clean dishes
- Folding the laundry
- Washing the mirrors
- Cleaning their rooms
Just simple chores like that will be a huge help in the overall work that needs to be done at home.

Other chores for kids to consider
Once they get the hang of their chores, you can always alter your chore chart a bit and add in a few different things.
Sorting recycling can be a great way that they can continue to help around the house.
Organizing the junk drawers is also a task that they can do!
The list can go on and on! Also, give your kids a chance to add a chore or two to their list as well that they want to do. You never know, you might have a kiddo that actually really does like cleaning!
