Norfolk has some fabulous Halloween events for all members of the family, there are a vast amount of pumpkin patches in Norfolk to visit, but there are also lots of other spooktacular things to do in Norfolk.
The kids all adore Halloween events so we are always looking for new, interesting days out during the October Half Term week, although Norfolk half term this year is the week before Halloween, so there may be quite a few Norfolk Halloween Events spread out across two weeks.

Bewilderwood Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade
It’s the most fantastical time of the year, as BeWILDerwood’s famous Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade is back 14th-15th and 19th – 31st October, with a sparkly new story!
See the woods in whole new light, as you adventure through the magical light extravaganza and watch the story unfold as you journey through the woods down mysterious paths exclusive to this event. Make marvellous memories as a family, and don’t worry if you aren’t the bravest Boggle – it’s spooky not scary!
Start your adventure at dusk and craft your own Twiggle Twilight Lantern to help the Boggles light up the woods at Hazel’s Hideaway, before embarking on a journey through BeWILDerwood like you have never seen before.

Bressingham Halloween Evenings

Join Bressingham this Half term for the special spooky Ghost train evenings on the 26th, 27th, and 28th October 2023.
The evening consists of a spooky ghost train ride and gallopers rides. There will also be a variety of halloween themed games. They will also have some entertainers doing magic and balloon modelling. Why not dress up and come in costume adding to the occasion.

Fairground Frights runs for five nights in 2023, from Wednesday 25th to Sunday 29th October with an end-of-season firework display on the 29th October.

Fairyland Trust The Real Halloween
Location : Bradmoor Woods on the West Acre Estate
Set in a beautiful woodland glade in the depths of Norfolk, this is Halloween as it should be.
Spend the afternoon exploring the woods, taking part in various activities in nature. Make a Real Broomstick, create a Halloween Lantern ready for the parade, visit the Fairy King and Queen, get creative in the Witches’ Kitchen, try your luck at Halloween Games, or send a postcard from the Pixie Post Office.
Entertainment includes live music in the Performance Tent from the King Driscolls, PennyLess providing the jig for our Musical Toadstools, Mr Pineapple Head’s hilarious show, short stories told throughout the afternoon, plus some walkabout silly Trolls, endearing Bats, and other magical folk.
As dusk falls, everyone gathers to hear the telling of The Real Halloween story before hundreds of candle lanterns are lit to join with our special Wild Animal Lanterns for a parade through the woods. There are also some extra workshops available for a small additional fee, which need to be booked in advance as space is limited.

Hippodrome Halloween Spooktacular

Hirstys Halloween Hoot
Location : Great Yarmouth Rd, Hemsby NR29 4NL
An array of activities are on offer including face painting, a Halloween quiz, fancy dress competitions and an exploration of the maze.
Children can try out the park’s newly-installed climbing frame and slide and classics like the bouncing pillows and go-carts will also be open.
The Autumn Fairy will wind down each day by reading a story and hosting a singalong.
Every child will be able to pick a pumpkin from the on-site patch and decorate it in the crafting marquee.

There is so much to see and do this year at PrimEvil, with several hair-raising haunts that will instil you with fear.

Roarr Dinosaur Adventure Dippys Halloween

It might be half-term but at ROARR! the Weston-Smythe School of Dinosaurs and the Undead is in session. Dippy and friends will be joined by a host of unusual Professors with hands on lessons and sessions.
