Sprükits was developed by Bandai’s skilled artisans and inspired by over 30 years of Gunpla / Gundam history in Japan. Built in the same legendary factory, these figural model kits create incredibly detailed and highly articulated action figures of your favourite heroes to build, pose and display.
There are three levels of complexity. Requiring no cutting, painting or glue Sprükits lets you collect your favourite characters and build them from the ground up. What makes a hero? You do.
We were sent an easy Batman, which consists of 31 pieces.
This one was quite easy to do, it only took Lochlan 20 minutes to complete, the instructions were very straight forward and easy to follow, the figure stands just over 4 inches tall.
Level 2 we had Halo Commander Sarah Palmer, this one is 5 inches tall and 113 pieces, Viggo wanted to join in on the action!
This one wasn’t so easy and all the boys became quite frustrated with it, I thought maybe it was because it was the next level, but after completing the Batman level 3, which has even more pieces much easier than this one, they decided it was the actual instructions and the language used that made it difficult, i’m wondering if the Halo Sets are made by a different company than the Batman ones.
Level 3 Arkham City Batman has 163 pieces and stands over 9 inches tall, with true to life action hero movement and articulation.
The finished BatMan taking pride of place on the bookcase.
Our thoughts on Sprükits.
The boys loved making the kits, especially as they didn’t have to use any glue or paint (or maybe that was my best part!).
The levels did vary in difficulty and I would definitely recommend working your way through the levels and not just go straight for the level 3 as it did take a lot longer, but Lochlan says that he felt more at ease with it, and he thinks that is due to the fact he had already completed the other sets, although as I mentioned earlier, he found the Halo set harder to follow.
The Sprükits are a great model making kit for any DC or Halo fans, and would make a great gift. The recommended age of 8+ is about right, as Kaide and Eowyn found them too fiddly.
You can buy Sprükits from Amazon ranging from £8 for level 1 up to £38 for a level 3.
These look so cool. I might have to get my other half a few, break up the monotony of Dr Who figures! ::) #ToyTuesday
Oh wow, these look so bloody cool! never mind the kids or my nieces, I want some of these just for me!

These look like something hubby and Tigger would enjoy making together
How neat! I can definitely see how frustrating a model with 113 individual pieces could be for a child. Still, sounds like a great way to spend time with your kids. Thanks for sharing!
