Happy 15th Wedding Anniversary

wedding

This time 15 years ago, I was at the hairdressers, with my five bridesmaids and my mum, getting ready to become Mrs Morrison, Asa had the job of taking Lochlan (aged 18 months) to the church, which he did, strapped to his back!

Then back to my parents house to get ready, three small girls and big puffy princesses dresses was fun, and watching my mum stressing about her mother of the bride outfit, which she didn’t need to worry about as it looked lovely

We got married at our local church, with a very wonderful vicar, who had a bit of a stutter, which was quite interesting when we came to our vows!

After the ceremony, Asa and I went off to a local park to have some photos of just the two of us, and we then had a sit down meal for 70, followed by a disco and buffet for another 80 guests.

The day flashed past in a blur and I am so glad that we made the decision to have the ceremony recorded, so that I can get the video (yes it was a while ago) and watch it whenever I choose, the younger children also enjoy watching it!

20 years together, and 15 years of marriage, couldn’t imagine my life any different, but the day was quite challenging with the two young children, I would love to renew our vows and have all of the children there to help celebrate, maybe that will be my aim for our 25th Wedding Anniversary!
