Beyond Beige – Over the last few weeks I have been thinking more about old age, with my own grandma in her nineties and still going, it made me think that although some class my maturing years as old, actually I could only be halfway through my life, if the family genes are anything to go by ( I hope so!).
Which leads me onto my latest read, Beyond Beige, which is all about getting older

Beyond Beige Review
My birthday at the end of the month is moving towards an age that some may consider ‘getting old’ so I was curious to see how much of the book I would relate to and how much of it would give me an insight into the years ahead!
The illustrations throughout were brilliant and had me chuckling many times, its like a grown up women’s comic book!
There are lots of funny moments, accompanied by some serious, and tender moments, which had me reaching for a tissue or too (those damn hormones!).
It is not an overly long book, which is perfect for my wandering brain and its foggy demeanour!
If you have any women in your life that are reaching maturity, then this is the perfect little read for them.
Thankyou Sylvie for giving me hope that the next 20+ years will be filled with lots of adventures and fun times! Bring It On!
