On Friday we shall be taking a short hop across the border (literally 10 minutes) to the fabulous Pleasurewood Hills, the children are a little bit excited, they ADORE the Sealions and Parrots, and Kaide thinks he might be tall enough for some of the big boy rides!!
Check back at the weekend for our review, but until then, here is a little preview of what we can expect to see
Set within 50 acres of enclosed coastal parkland and just 10mins from the popular seaside town of Great Yarmouth, Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park has been refurbished making it an even more vibrant place for a day out for all the family. With great discounts of over 25% when you book online and ample free parking, there really hasn’t been a better time to visit the biggest theme park in the East of England.
As part of our £3.5m investment plan we’re introducing Marble Madness our FOURTH roller coaster and 10th new attraction in just 4 years! For the first time ever, Pleasurewood Hills will be home to FOUR roller coasters and we’re convinced Marble Madness will provide thrills and spills fun for all the family! Day visitors will also have the opportunity to experience HoBs PiT – Our dark ride opened to critical acclaim in 2013 from both theme park experts and the leisure industry. The ride is the most advanced of its kind and mixes illusions with live performers to create a scare attraction and scare ride experience. – Now rated 12A by the BBFC.
There’s so much to explore and do, visitors can also jump onboard Wipeout, the tallest, fastest and most extreme roller coaster in the East of England! Get soaked on our Timber Falls log flume, plummet 60ft per second with a 5.5G force on the Jolly Roger Drop Tower or simply relax and enjoy fantastic shows with The Sea Lions and our Playful Parrots.
Brand new for August 2014, Pleasurewood Hills presents The Acapulco High Dive Show direct from touring Europe. This will be the first time anything like this have been seen in East Anglia and we are very proud to welcome SOKOL entertainment to Suffolk this summer.
You’ll be on the edge of your seats watching this breathtaking stunt show performed by high dive world champions. Five of the world’s best high divers have come from all over Europe to perform here at Pleasurewood Hills. Larisa (Ukraine), Alex (Bulgaria), Adina (Romania), Alexa (Belarus) and Marius (Romania) have been wowing audiences throughout July and are here for just one more month.
Laugh and giggle at the comedy diving, be on the edge of your seat when they dive from 25m high into a pool of only 2.8m deep and witness the amazing ‘human torch’. You will never forget this spectacular aerial acrobatics show for the whole family. Not to be missed this summer!
There are lots of fabulous rides for the Little ones too.
At Pleasurewood Hills we guarantee you’ll be greeted with a smile from our Guest Experience Super Heroes. Why not contact us today and re-discover why Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is the number 1 destination for any day visit in the East of England.
Have you visited Pleasurewood Hills ?
If you are going on Friday, we may see you there xx
Pleasurewood Hills is my local theme park too (we’re in Norfolk) My favourite ride is Wipeout. The ride itself is good, but I also like the view from the top – even if it’s only for a few seconds!
