Its hard to believe that it was over sixteen years ago that I was first pregnant with Xene, we moved to our first proper house two weeks before she was born, and I can vividly remember going out to buy our first washing machine, up until then we had taken it to my mums for her to do, but now, with our first child on the way I NEEDED to have a washing machine of my own, to take care of and clean my new baby’s clothes.
Both families have a history of sensitive skin, so I had always planned to use washing powder and conditioner that was suitable for delicate skin, which meant to me Persil non-bio and Comfort Pure.
With the new school year fast approaching I took a little trip to Asda and #CollectiveBias with Neva and Viggo to get some Persil non bio and Comfort Pure, ready for the giant school uniform wash!
Before Xene was born my sister bought a 101 Dalmatians outfit for him or her to wear home (we didn’t find out the sex until she was born) I am proud to say that all seven children have worn the same suit home, as it has lovingly been washed over the years in Persil non bio and Comfort Pure, although it was a little snug on Viggo as he was 2lb heavier than the rest!!
Over the next few weeks, Persil non bio and Comfort Pure will be donating a total of £100,000 to Tommy’s (registered charity no. 1060508) to support their research into the prevention of miscarriage, premature births and stillbirths, which is a very worthwhile charity. I have been VERY fortunate with all of my pregnancies, they have all been pretty straightforward and trouble free, resulting in seven very healthy babies, but I have had numerous friends and family members that haven’t been so lucky, this is an amazing campaign and I am proud to be part of #Mums4Tommys
The thing that makes Persil non bio and Comfort Pure different is the way that it makes my entire wash feel and smell, Viggo and Tyrus LOVE rolling around in my freshly washed towels, snuggling their faces into the soft fabric (or playing hide and seek)
They also love to help me with the washing in general, although I definitely miss the child lock that I had on my old machine, as I do occasionally find that one of the two little ones has switched the machine off mid wash or washed it twice!!
Does anyone in your family have sensitive skin, do you have to be careful what products you use ?
