Our #MorningWin with Belvita

Getting seven children and two adults ready to be out of the house at 8am, five days a week is a bit of a challenge, as you can imagine!

I am usually the first one up, as I seem to be the only one to actually hear the alarm….

A major MorningWin for me is if any of the children are having school dinners that day, I am not a fan of making lunchboxes in the morning, now that all children in reception, Year one and two are entitled to a free school lunch, that is one less each day!!

The older children are pretty good at getting themselves up and ready in a short space of time, the younger ones I can get dressed whilst still half asleep.

Our journey in the morning is pretty hectic with a minimum of four drop offs, some days it can be as many as six different places to get to, which is OK when the roads are open, which hasn’t been the case near our house lately, three of the roads we use to get to our destinations have been shut for various reasons, resulting in a much longer, complicated journey, so it was a nice surprise and a big MorningWin last week when I discovered one of our main school route roads had been reopened, hooray.

I very rarely have time for breakfast in the morning, which didn’t use to be a problem, because I could grab something when I came home, however, now that I have work in the morning I need something, and the perfect quick and easy breakfast for me is Belvita Biscuits, so I was very eager to try their new flavours.

The Chocolate Chip flavour were the first to disappear, literally they were in the cupboard one minute and the next, was an empty box!

The Hazelnut ones were very delicious, and the Apricot ones felt a little more healthy, as they had fruit in them. I LOVE Belvita biscuits in the morning, they are quick and simple and I feel as if I have made a slight effort with breakfast for myself!
