ALL of my children LOVE Ice Cream, whatever the weather, so when Waitrose challenged them to come up with their own Ice Cream creations, they thought long and hard whether they would be able to accept this challenge, (all of 5 seconds for them all to yell “Yes”)
The Waitrose website has some amazing ice cream related recipes, so I took a little peak there first and thought that Strawberry Shortbread Sundaes sounded delicious, so I added the ingredients to my shopping list, which was all done automatically when I clicked on the recipe!
I made them with the children, unfortunately they were demolished before I even had a chance to take a photo!! I’m guessing they were a hit.
So, onto their own ice creams, I looked on the Waitrose website and chose a variety of different flavoured ice creams, and lots of little extras…
I chose various flavours of ice cream that I thought the children would enjoy, accompanied by meringues, chocolate sauces, chocolate stars, popping candy and wafers.

They had an amazing time designing and creating their ice creams, and they all finished every last bite, so I am pretty sure it was a huge hit.
