Halloween Made Perfect by George at Asda

This time last week, I was getting ready to attend the Rugby Club Halloween fancy Dress Party, I have no idea where the time goes, this past week seems to have flown by in a flash.

The children going Trick or Treating seems like forever ago.

Every year the children dress up, meet up with their friends and go Trick or Treating around the little area we used to live in, located very close to their Primary school and where lots of the residents enter into the spirit of Halloween and decorate their houses.

Tyrus is mesmerised by pumpkins and it takes us quite a while to coax him away from each house that has one in the garden!!

This year the wonderful people from George at Asda asked if I would like help with some costumes, which of course I said YES PLEASE.

It was quite a long process deciding which costumes the children would like, eventually Eowyn decided on Merida from Brave, as she wanted to wear the costume all of the time and not just Halloween!

Kaide is completely Marvel obsessed, so Thor with Hammer was his top choice.

Lochlan didn’t want to go too mad, being a teen and all that, so he chose a Jack Skellington Top and Mask, which was extremely effective.

Tyrus chose a skeleton all in one, which meant he could wear his normal clothes underneath if it was too chilly.

Neva, chose a Ghostbusters T-Shirt so that she could wear it more than once, and it was a good excuse to wear a gun and backpack…

Xene made her own Scarlet Witch costume this year,  ready for her annual trip to Pleasurewood Hills with her friends.

Viggo didn’t come out Trick or Treating with us this year, but he adored assisting with the Pumpkins!!

What did they think ?

They absolutely LOVED their costumes, the quality of them was outstanding and the price for each one was incredible value for money.

The Thor outfit had such great detail and the Hammer was very realistic without being too heavy and dangerous for the children to injure each other (although Viggo did try to take a bite out of it!) Priced at only £12.50 it really is great value for money.

Merida looked brilliant, and Eowyn loved the fact that she could have Red Hair (just for the night) also priced at £12.50, the bow and arrow were great and shot halfway across the garden.

Jack Skellington was the perfect outfit for a Teen, cool and funky without being too over the top.

The skeleton that Tyrus wore was easy for him to run around in and not too restrictive, but had enough room that he could wear extra layers underneath if needed, although this year it was quite warm, so he didn’t need a big woolly jumper!

The Glow in the Dark Ghostbusters T-Shirt was perfect for Neva’s costume, and also for Xene to wear to college in the week leading up to Halloween.

George at Asda has an amazing range of Fancy dress costumes that are perfect for any party, or school play, this will certainly be the place I look first when the Costume requirements are sent out from school for the Christmas Plays.
