A Day Out In London

Last Friday, Viggo and I attended Brit Mums Live in London, it was the first time that Viggo had been on a train!! He certainly enjoyed climbing up the seats to try and eat the little cardboard reserved signs…

We haven’t been to London as a family for quite some time, so I began thinking about a trip there in the Summer Holidays, but the problem is, with seven children, they all have different things that they would like to do.

Neva is the animal lover of the family, so she would love the London Aquarium or London Zoo.

Xene enjoys going to watch shows and musicals, so a theatre trip would be on her to do list, and maybe a Harry Potter Bus Tour.

I’m sure Eowyn would talk us into a little stop off at Hamleys ToyShop

The boys would love Madame Tussauds, but I think the London Dungeons would be too much for them (or maybe I mean me!)

The London Eye looks amazing, and we would obviously need to do the obligatory sights – Trafalgar Square, Changing of The Guard, Buckingham Palace.

But all of this would take quite a long time, we definitely couldn’t do it all in one day, so I had a quick look at an overnight stay.

The International Hotels Group have some amazing hotels, right in the middle of London.

Kensington-Forum located within a few minutes of Hyde Park,London Eye and Tower Bridge perfect place to stay whilst checking out the sights of London.

Bloomsbury Hotel  a stones throw from Buckingham Palace, Covent Garden and St Pauls Cathedral

Have you got any tips for a London Stay, or must see places to visit ?
