I work two days per week and I must admit I HATE making myself a packed lunch, one reason is that I just never seem to have the time and the second is that I have no inspiration for fancy lunches. I go into work and some of the people’s lunches are more like a restaurant lunch, so when I was offered the opportunity to review Cheese Posties, it sounded completely bonkers but also the answer to my lunch quandary!
Cheese Posties is a subscription service that provides you with a delicious sandwich straight through your letterbox, all you have to do is put the ingredients in the bread and pop it in the toastie bag provided and voila your very own gourmet lunch, simples.
You can choose if you have sweet or savoury, if you are a vegetarian, you can select no nuts, or gluten free, there really is something for everyone.
The cost is £3.99 per week or if you subscribe for longer, it works out a little bit cheaper, so just less than £4 for a warm lunch, isn’t too bad.
My Cheese Postie.
Fits perfectly through the letterbox, so even if you are not home, there is no running to the post office to retrieve it.
Mine toastie had goats cheese with a bacon marmalade. It was very easy to assemble and pop in the toaster.
And here is the finished toastie….
It was very filling and would certainly keep me going for the rest of the day at work.
Have you tried a Cheese Postie, what is your favourite filling ?
